Swedish Massage

This classic relaxation therapy is designed to relax the entire body with a fusion of long, smooth strokes and kneading movements. Friction, compression and rocking techniques are used in order to achieve increased blood and lymph circulation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while using tension. The perfect massage to restore peace and balance!

Deep Tissue/Sports Massage

Deep tissue massage involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation. A vigorous therapy, including trigger point work and isolated stretches relieve overworked muscles and tissues.

*Trigger point therapy mostly consists of rubbing and pressing on trigger points aka “knots”– which can feel like an amazing relief, with the proper pressure, technique and intent. Though some may experience mild discomfort while this technique is being applied, it generally serves as a successful tool to help bring relief to nagging aches and pains. Deep tissue greatly promotes accelerated muscle recovery and helps guard against future injury for the physically active.

Trigger Point Therapy

Combination Massage

This is the ideal massage that incorporates techniques from both Swedish and deep tissue massages. After a brief consultation between the client and therapist, a plan is determined to best suit the client’s needs.

Prenatal Massage

Specifically for the Mother-to-be, this is the perfect massage to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, sciatica, headaches and edema. In addition, massage for pregnant women reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, encourages blood and lymph circulation, helps to relax nervous tension and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes. This massage is applied to the mother-to-be in a side lying position with supportive cushions to help support the neck, low back and hip while also alleviating pressure on the pelvic region.

*Deep tissue massage is contraindicated. All High risk pregnancies MUST be discussed with your therapist prior to the massage, along with a physician’s written referral.

This is an ideal option for the individual on the go, as well as a healthy offering for executives to offer their employees.

A chair massage focuses on the scalp, neck, shoulders, upper & lower back, arms and hands.
